An Army helicopter carrying seven soldiers crashed and burned in the fog Monday after hitting a web of support wires on a TV transmission tower whose warning lights had been knocked out in a storm last week, officials said. Everyone aboard was killed.

My heart goes out to the families of the soldiers who died in the crash.

Colombia's main rebel group asked followers to mount an assassination attempt against President Bush during his visit to Colombia last week, Defense Minister Jorge Uribe said. There was no evidence Saturday that rebels even tried to organize such an attack.

Well, thank God that FARC didn't try to go through with it. An event like that will bring the full force of the United States armed forces onto the rebels, which would not be pretty.

The severely ill Iraqi baby taken to U.S. Marines at Abu Ghraib prison by her father and then flown to the United States survived a third surgery on her heart and is doing well, her doctors said.

This is such a great story to hear out of Iraq. Not the bombs and beheadings and terrorist attacks on both civilians and the Coalition. As far as I know, FOXNews has the only story on it. I am glad to hear that the baby will do fine.

The U.S. military is investigating the videotaped fatal shooting of a wounded and apparently unarmed Iraqi prisoner by a U.S. Marine in a mosque in Fallujah, a Marine spokesman said.

Well, the Arab world yells and bitches when the is a little hole in their mosques, but doesn't say a thing when the churches we bombed, except from Al Sistani, the more clear-thinking of the clerics.

Where was the outrage when the terrorists beheaded Nick Berg? Where was the outrage when they beheaded the South Korean? Where was the outrage when they beheaded the Japanese man? Yet, they are all hooting and hollering when we had men in underwear, but, BUT, the outrage from the apparent deaths of detainees in US custody is justifiable.

Al-jazerra, the terrorist propaganda machine and the equivelent of the CBS of the Arab world, has shown the full, unedited video of the killing. I was watch Bill O'Reilly and he talked about the incident. He said that the Marine is innocient of the killing. I support the Marine in the incident until we find the full facts about it. As Bill said, if that Marine intended to kill him, he would have just shot him once he saw them. That terrorist could have had a weapon on him, and if he used that weapon on our Marines, the Arab world would have lifted that terrorist to that of a hero. The bias in the Arab world is obvious; if it happens to Westerners, then it is okay, but if it happens to Arabs, all Hell breaks lose.
