From FOXNews: "This post is too important to leave vacant any longer, especially during a war and a vital debate about U.N. reform. So today I've used my constitutional authority to appoint John Bolton to serve as America's ambassador to the United Nations," Bush said.
The liberals are in a foaming rage over this constitutional solution to an unconstitutional problem (filibusters). For months, the post of US ambassador to the UN has been left vacant, with the liberals preventing an up-or-down vote on President Bush's nomination to the UN. While the liberals want more documents about John Bolton's work as the Undersecretary of State, what they really want is to oppose everything Bush does while he remains in the White House for the next 4 years or so.
Americans are getting fed up with the obstruction that is taking place in both Houses of Congress. Bush did the right thing to use his constitutional powers to send Bolton to the UN to help straighten out the crooks and liars there.
