Challenger Freman Hendrix and incumbent Kwame Kilpatrick move on to the November ballot. Sharon McPhail's running mate, Benny Napoleon, has reportedly thrown his support behind Hendrix. Mayor Kilpatrick has to focus on the issues and bring attention to the accomplishes that he has done to the city of Detriot, while Hendrix has to hammer Kilpatrick on the controversies of his administration, but also give his solutions to the problems of Detroit.
